We’ve got answers to the things you’re wondering.
The Bazar Neptune is a curated outdoor Saturday market on the Neptune Drive-In grounds at 693 Main St, Pointe-du-Chêne, NB. It features local artisans, makers, and vendors of all stripes, alongside on-site food service and the occasional bit of live entertainment. Think of it as a village square that assembles itself once a week, then vanishes before the movie starts.
The Bazar Neptune operates on Saturdays from 9am to 2pm. In 2026, it will be every Saturday in July and August. Special days and dates will be announced on our social media channels and website.
The Bazar is open from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM each Saturday. Arrive early for the best selection; arrive late for the best parking. Your call.
No. Entry to the Bazar Neptune is free. Your wallet is for the vendors.
Parking is available on the Neptune Drive-In grounds. On busy Saturdays, overflow parking may be directed to the nearby Parlee Beach parking area with signage to guide you. Follow the signs and the instincts of the attendants.
The grounds are largely flat and navigable by wheelchair and mobility device. We are committed to making the Bazar as accessible as possible. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us at info@shediacwonderland.ca in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Yes, dogs are welcome, as long as they’re kept on leash, on the ground. Service animals are permitted anywhere on the Bazar grounds.
Outside food and beverages are not permitted, with exceptions for baby food, formula, breast milk, and medically necessary items. On-site food is provided by our designated caterers, so you will not go hungry.
Shediac Wonderland is a collection of tourism and hospitality businesses in Shediac, NB. The family includes Le Moque-Tortue (a bistro), Adorable Chocolat (a chocolaterie), the Neptune Drive-In, the Bazar Neptune, Morse et Marteaux BBQ, Le Griffon B&B, and the Shediac Renaissance Faire.
There is an Alice in Wonderland thread running through everything. You may notice it. You may not. Either way, you are in good company.
Lost items may be reported to or retrieved from the Information Tent during market hours. After the season, unclaimed items become the property of Bazar Neptune. We are not responsible for lost or stolen belongings, but we will absolutely help you look.
Please do! The Bazar is a photogenic place and we encourage personal, non-commercial photography. If you wish to photograph or film vendors, their products, or their booths for commercial purposes, you must obtain written permission from both the vendor and Bazar Neptune management.
Yes. Throughout the summer we host themed market days, which may include NB Local Day, Acadian Artist Day, Young Entrepreneurs Day, and other celebrations. Follow our social media for the schedule and details.

Smoking and vaping are permitted only in designated areas on the grounds. These are clearly marked. Please be considerate of fellow guests.
Cash is always wise, though many vendors accept card payments. Sunscreen and a hat are strongly recommended. Comfortable shoes. A sense of curiosity. Leave the folding chairs, coolers, glass containers, and oversized bags at home.
The following are not permitted on the Bazar grounds: outside food and drink, outside alcohol, cannabis products, glass containers, drones, remote-control toys, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, and any item deemed harmful or disruptive by staff. Bags and parcels may be subject to search upon entry.
Absolutely. The Bazar Neptune is designed for all ages. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Unattended children will be brought to the Information Tent, where a parent or guardian will be summoned with gentle persistence.
The Bazar Neptune operates rain or shine. Most vendors are covered by tents. However, we reserve the right to close or evacuate the grounds during electrical storms, high winds, or otherwise dangerous conditions. There are no refunds for weather-related closures (though there is nothing to refund, since admission is free).
No. The Bazar Neptune is a weekly Saturday market running throughout July and August. The Shediac Renaissance Faire is a separate two-day event held on the same grounds later in the summer. They share a home but not a personality. The Bazar is the easygoing Saturday cousin; the Faire is the one who shows up in full armour.
All prospective vendors must complete a Merchant & Artisan application form. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Acceptance is not guaranteed; we curate for quality, variety, and fit. You will find the application on our website or by contacting us at info@shediacwonderland.ca.

Booth rental fees vary depending on booth size, duration, and any additional services (electricity, table rentals, tent rentals). Full pricing details are provided in the Merchant Agreement issued upon acceptance.
The standard booth footprint is 10′ frontage x 15′ depth. Larger configurations (e.g., 20′ frontage x 15′ depth) may be available upon request and subject to availability.

Proof of insurance must be submitted prior to your first market date. Specific deadlines will be outlined in your Merchant Agreement.
We welcome a wide range of goods: handmade crafts, original art, artisan products, vintage items, curiosities, and more. We strongly favour original, handmade, and locally sourced goods. If you make it, grow it, or curate it with care, we are interested.
Vendors may not sell prepared food (all food service is handled by our designated caterers), firearms or functional weapons, illegal substances, counterfeit or trademarked goods, or any item deemed unsafe or inappropriate by management. If you are unsure whether your product qualifies, ask us before applying.
We value the human hand. We strongly prefer goods that are made, designed, or curated by real people. If your product relies on AI-generated content, disclose this on your application and we will assess it on a case-by-case basis.
Demonstrations are welcome and even encouraged, provided they are safe, do not obstruct neighbouring vendors or pathways, and are approved in advance. Anything involving open flame, heat, or sharp tools requires explicit written authorization.
Vendors must arrive during the designated setup window and be market-ready by 9:00 AM. Early departure is not permitted without prior approval. Teardown begins only after the market officially closes at 2:00 PM. Specific logistics will be communicated in your Merchant Agreement.

Shared booths may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Both vendors must submit individual applications and be individually approved. Contact us to discuss arrangements.
Cancellation terms are outlined in your Merchant Agreement. In general: early cancellation may qualify for a partial refund; late cancellation does not. We understand that life happens, but we also need to plan.
The Bazar operates rain or shine. Vendors are expected to attend regardless of weather. If conditions become dangerous (electrical storms, high winds), management will make the call to close. Specific weather cancellation policies are covered in your Merchant Agreement.
Both options are available. You may apply for the full season or for specific dates. Indicate your preference on the application.
No. Each vendor is responsible for their own sales tax collection and remittance. You are an independent merchant, not our employee.
We promote the Bazar as a whole across our social media channels, website, and local advertising. Individual vendor spotlights may occur at our discretion. By participating, you grant Shediac des Merveilles Inc. permission to photograph and film your booth, products, and likeness for promotional purposes, unless you specify otherwise in writing before the market date.
You retain ownership of your products and branding. Shediac des Merveilles Inc. retains the right to use photographs and video of the Bazar (including your booth) for promotional purposes, as outlined in the Merchant Agreement.
Vendor parking will be designated separately from guest parking. Details will be provided in your Merchant Agreement and pre-market communications.
The Bazar Neptune and the Shediac Renaissance Faire have separate application processes. Being accepted to one does not guarantee acceptance to the other, though we do love familiar faces. If you are interested in the Faire, submit a separate application through the Renaissance Faire vendor portal.

*The Bazar Neptune is operated by Shediac des Merveilles Inc. We are all mad here, but we are mad with purpose.*
The Bazar Neptune is produced by Shediac Wonderland, the family of story-driven businesses created by Sébastien Després and Heather Wright. Le Moque-Tortue (our board game bistro), Morse et Marteaux BBQ Smokehouses & Lobster Shacks(with four locations throughout Shediac), Le Griffon (bed & breakfast), The Neptune (our Drive-In Theatre), Adorable Chocolat (our artisanal chocolaterie), Bazar Neptune (Saturday market), the Shediac Renaissance Faire, and Witzend Tours & Adventures (tours, escape rooms, and concierge): each one a chapter of a larger story about what happens when a community decides to take play seriously.
The Bazar Neptune is the chapter where everyone is invited to bring what they’ve made and find what they’ve been missing.
